After years of development purgatory, the reboot of 1987 horror classic Hellraiser is finally full-steam ahead with director David Bruckner, set for release on Hulu in the US. Principal photography has been completed and a full cast list has been released by production company Spyglass Media, including a new face for the series' most iconic villain: Pinhead.
Jamie Clayton (Sense8, The L Word) will be taking up the mantle and stepping into the role first originated by Doug Bradley. Bradley, who played the character across eight of the franchise's 10 installments, only recently stepped away from the role as of 2011's Hellraiser: Revelations. Clayton will be the first woman and first trans actor to play the part.
