Disney Plus Day: Everything Being Added On November 12

Disney+ Day is taking place on November 12, which is the second anniversary of the streaming service's launch back in 2019. Of course, Disney has a lot to celebrate--in its last financial quarter, Disney+ grew to 116 million paid subscribers--and is paying it forward later this week with a day full of first-looks, new trailers, and exclusive clips for upcoming Disney+ content by Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, and so on.

What's coming to Disney+ on D+ Day?

On November 12, Disney will be adding a ton of content to its streaming service. Among the titles that are worth highlighting is platform newcomer Marvel's Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and 13 Marvel movies getting an IMAX Expanded Aspect Ratio format visual upgrade. The latter move makes use of footage that was already on hand from production intended for IMAX theatrical presentations, and makes them available for home viewing.

Also note that Disney has recently announced a limited-time deep discount for new and "eligible" returning subscribers to get their first month on the streaming service for $2 in the USA. That deal will be off the table at 11:59 PM PT on November 14--so if you see anything below that is particularly exciting, $2 is a nice deal. After your first month as a subscriber, the fee will then rise to $8 per month.
