Universal Pictures has released the final trailer for Halloween Ends, which will be coming to theaters and Peacock on October 14. Reportedly, the film will be Jamie Lee Curtis' final appearance in the franchise, and the same for Nick Castle--who portrays Michael Myers.
The new two-minute clip brings the long-running franchise that's been around for 45 years full circle. As the studio describes the movie, the film is a "final confrontation" between Michael Myers and Laurie Strode where "only one of them will survive." Curtis is returning to play the role that made her a star decades ago--and she's said in a previous teaser video that this film will be a "fitting conclusion" to the franchise's legacy. You can watch the suspenseful trailer below--which includes a clear tease that Michael Myers may finally be unmasked.
The upcoming Halloween Ends is directed and co-written by David Gordon Green, who collaborated on the script with Paul Brad Logan, Chris Bernier, and Danny McBride. In addition to Curtis, the movie's cast includes Andi Matichak, Rohan Campbell, Will Patton, Kyle Richards, and James Jude Courtney.
