Hogwarts Legacy Morality System Discovered In Game's Code

Harry Potter RPG Hogwarts Legacy may have been intended to feature a morality and House Point system at one point, at least according to evidence from a recent datamine.

As relayed by PC Gamer, dataminer GrandTheftDiamonds released a YouTube video outlining cut (and unused) content from Hogwarts Legacy. During the video, it was explained that a morality system and a House Points mechanic were found in the game files, indicating that work was apparently done on them.

A list of spells and actions was shown in the video, along with an associated House Point penalty (or reward) for each. For instance, being a class clown would have resulted in a loss of 10 points, while stopping a bully would have earned a player 20 points. The Avada Kedavra spell, known as the Killing Curse, would have resulted in a deduction of 100 points--a small penalty for ending someone's life. This is the worst offense on the list.
